The Founding Shareholders acquired the company from MGX in April 2003, where it had previously traded profitably for 10 years as Magic SA. The name was changed to Magix as management added new products and services and took the business into the Integrated Risk Management space.
Shareholder - Conexus Investment Fund Limited (“Conexus”)
In September 2007, Conexus acquired a 20% shareholding in the Magix Group for an investment of R11 million. Conexus is an investment fund which provides an opportunity for high nett worth individuals to hold direct investments in South African equities and related securities.Current Conexus representatives and non-executive directors of Magix are Clive Douglas, the founder of Conexus, and Richard Willis.
